Well it is all systems go, we are moving in on friday!!! Im hyperventiling as i think about this. It's more from surprise really. To be honest where the new flat is, is one of my favourite locations in Liverpool, and makes me realise even more what a beautiful city it is and if you look hard enough, the hidden gems you can find in terms of beauty and nature are plentiful. My wonderful friend i was living with before all this quiet chaos, is having a lovely leaving do for me on Thursday, and has invited friends for dinner. I am so thankful that somebody would think with so much thoughtfulness and i know i have found a friend for life. Next time you see a good friend who you would not want to lose, give them a hug! Speak you soon with photos of the new flat! Hope you are all well!

Oh my giddy aunt!
Wonders never to do cease! Well, do you remember me having a wee moan about how our dream flat was taken and never to return? Well, it has come back to us! Yesterday me and the big lad went to view some other places with heavy hearts and not really feeling it as we were still mourning over the loss of our beloved place we had found. We then recieved a phone call from the estate agents saying it was back on the market and would we be able to view it that night. Of course we jumped at the chance and it looks even better on the inside than out! We then put in a offer this morning and if all goes well, it should be all ours! I really do feel like the goddess is taking care of business (as i asked so nicely of course), but i do remember that she teaches me lessons almost everyday. Im so thankful for these changes in events, even if it was just to see inside the place! I will let you know how it all pans out! Finger and toes crossed for us and stayed tuned, we just don't know what will happen next! Weee!

Cccchanges!
Well, its official, I'm taking the leap into the great unknown and moving in with my wonderful, how he puts up with me, fella. For three years we have been together, so its about that time. Nervous, moi? Alright then, just a tad. But I'm excited as well. I just hope he knows that all my things come with me as well!
Observe the pictures above. This is not even the half of it!
Such as:
a)Tons of books that will go on the shelves which he has absolutely no interest in
b) Tons of artwork that will adorn our walls which he has absolutely no interest in
c) Tons of girl things that he will have absolutely no interest in.
He is bringing a bass guitar and a Star Trek painting (that will look lovely inside the closet.) I will provide the earphones for his bass playing.
Oh kids, this could be a bumpy ride! I'll keep you up to speed. I gotta, for my sanity at least!

All better now.

Ahh, sometimes there's nothing like a good ole cry, it can be the best remedy. I wrote all my feelings down, so its not all swirling around in my head, and have closed the chapter. Breathe in, breathe out. Now, I am really looking forward to springtime, the smell of freshly cut grass, bulbs appearing out of the soil, and the sun strengthening and fighting the night for more time to shine. It's on it's way, and I love that first day when you go outside and realise that once again the seasons are changing! Has any one any plans for spring? Gardening, spring cleaning, sewing? My spring ritual is to enjoy nature, clean out any negative feelings in my house, enjoy friendships and remembering to feel grateful for what I have and what I have yet to achieve. What's yours?
Oh Dear.
Do you ever try to make ammends with a situation, and find that no matter what you say or do, the damage is done? I had that situation today. I wont go into detail, as i fear i will cry pitiful tears again, but I feel awful, but yet I knew I did all I could in a honest and compassionate way to put the situation right. There is nothing more I can do. I don't know what else to write.
Here's to tomorrow and a new day.

Stressed out?
These are some of my favourite oils because of their smell and properties.
Lavender: Excellent for tension, tiredness and depression. It lifts the spirits!
Rose geramium: My favourite! Reminds me of my granny, as she had these plants all over the house. Heals deression and anxiety. Maybe thats way i loved going there!
Rose wood: Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. good for hair tonics too!

For goddess hair
This is a wee bit messy!
I know you would not think it, but through the stress and strains of today's complex world, stress is rife. Through that stress, you can lose hair. I don't mean baldy men, (thats their problem!) Im talking about hair loss with women. This some what taboo subject, ( a lot of people do not realise that it happens) is in fact common, and heaps even more stress on hair folicles. (trust me, i know!) So, not for wanting to tear any more hair out, i looked for answers. I believe this nifty wee potion if used on a regular basis can help strengthen the hair and improve growth. Here comes the science! Cedarwood, clary sage, rosemary and ylang ylang essential oils all have properties that help our hair remain strong and in our scalps! If you look at a lot major selling beauty products advertised, you will surely find essential oils stuffed in there or advertising that they do anyway. Im certainly not saying these do not work, but i just find natures approach works better in my hair than putting all chemicals in it.
Cedarwood: helps renew hair growth
Clary sage: Improves poor hair growth
Rosemary: renews hair growth
ylang ylang: aids hair growth
Note: You must never put aromatherapy oils on neat to any part of the skin, hair or body. This is strong stuff people! What to do, i hear you cry, well cry no longer ,as you have to mix the oils in a carrier oil. Jaboba oil is best for hair, but im finding it frightfully expensive, so i just use what else is good for hair which is coconut oil. Cheap and cheerful.
* POTION*
3 drops of clary sage
3 drops of cedarwood
2 drops of rosemary
3 drops of ylang ylang
Put these oils in 10 drops of coconut oil, or do what i do and just throw in a dallop. What ever works best for you, just don't make too much that you waste it, as it will not keep in open air. If you do wish to make a bottle, make sure it is a dark glassed one, as light effects the ingredients and increase the amount of the potion. Mix together and slap it all over your hair.Thats the messy part. Then get a warm towel and wrap it on your head, take a bath and chill out! The heat helps the oils do the magic! Wash hair throughly, and i try to do this weekly if possible!
They don't call it the bleak mid winter for nothin!
It is offically cold! But is was also a crisp, blue sky, clear one. Pity i was in work! I made all these plans, such as: go to the park and take some pictures, go get some food in the shops, take a nice walk in the sunshine! I also forgot that in the winter it goes to night time at about four o'clock. So went outside at 4.45pm, ready for my adventure, i was struck by how cold it is, and how dark it is! The one beneifit was a beautiful blooming moon to help me on my way home. Scrapped plans emmediately, and just went home and wrote to everyone. What can you do? Makes me thankful though, that i have a home to go to, so this is with thoughts of people not as fortunate as myself to do this. So be happy everyone, because as my granny used to always tell me, "There is always somebody worse off than you."

Aromatherapy
Im personally a firm believer in aromatherapy oils, although i know this is not everyones cup of tea! I have been studying the subject for about two years now, but it is just a life time hobby, and a occassional offering of help and advice if called for. Let me know your views on this topic! toodle pip!
New Discovery
I have just discovered widgets and what they do. Im getting carried away,(My favourite is the book shelf!) but i just see all these brilliant blogs and i want mine to be like yours! Ahh well, Rome was not built in a day, so im resigned to say it will be a major, ever changing, work in progess! I think im on the cusp of being offically obsessed! Anyho, how's your day been?
