A spell on giveaway night.......

Howdy do to you! Welcome to my giveaway!! Whoo hoo! Now, before we go any further, some change in the line up of the "ceremony" (still lovin it) Big fella had to unexpectedly go into work and could not make it. I am sorry, but the show must go on. I told him what you said Renee, that you thought he was the most handsome big fella, but he had to go.

On to proceedings. Now bow your heads... I am only joking! Let's get on with it shall we?

I turned out all the lights and lit the candles and got my wee cauldron out.
I took all the wee pieces of paper with your names on it and blew them into the cauldron.
I closed my eyes. Not before adding a wee bit of magic dust!

Oh, what the heck put the whole lot in, it's my first giveaway people!and out of the cauldron a wee piece of paper flew up into the air and flew here.

Lovely surprise!

Hello everyone! Well, today after another fun filled adventure with wee doggie, (more on that coming soon!) I settled down with a lovely cuppa and began preparations for the today's giveaway.

As I told big fella to get off the computer, wash his hands (I can be sooo Monica Geller at times) and do his part on the giveaway ceremony proceedings, he suddenly gasped at the computer screen.

"Halt the ceremony Claire. (I made him call it that.) We have a contender to the giveaway."

This mean old dragon flying above the land was inspired by my Castle of the Cats Adventure post which you can view here. I felt the dragon got a wee bit left out as we never met him, so here he is! Here comes Monday!

I now declare 2010 the year of fun! (oh, and a bit of advice please)

After a night of magical fun ringing in the New year, Big fella and myself came back home to find the heating had broken. Big fella valiantly proclaimed to have no fear and lifted our mattress into the living room and stuck on tea, toast and of course the electric fire. Cozy!
So on the 1st day of 2010 I wanted it to be all about the fun! We were supposed to go camping this weekend but weather was too bad. Doesn't mean we still can not camp though!

With every chair in the place, a floor brush, a whole lot of string, and of course the ever handy upright hoover, the tent is complete!




All I need now is when big fella comes in from work, for him to sit in the centre to be the middle pole and it will be perfect!





for now, I will wait for big fella to go camping with me and dream of a big white moon glowing through the window!

PS: To ring in the New Year and all in the name of good fun, I was going to go into the unknown and host my first giveaway. Ekkkk!
