I went awalking one day....................

Happy September to you!!!!

Now is the time for back to school, back to routine day to day duties and getting into the swings of things as summer fades! We may feel we are twirling and swirling in life just like the fallen leaves in the wind, just as we are winding down, just like the sun into autumn. The season is changing before our eyes.I took my first crunch and scrunch through the start of the leaves falling today. Oh, I felt like a kid again! Childhood dreams revisited. I want some wellies. Trainers do not do it justice, nor do my, way too long for this wee girl's jeans. I look like I have hobbit feet!

(Hobbit feet, and that with the shoes on!)

PS: Had my first cup of hot chocolate this evening, yum yum! I don't even mind walking around with my chocolate moustache.

I had my first hot chocolate last night!!! It was so cold here when the sun set. Tonight the low will be 12C. It's great sleeping weather, but still a reminder that the big chill is coming. I love autumn but don't care too much for winter in Michigan anymore.

No fallen leaves here yet, but it is coming. The hot chocolate sounds really good. I think you have talked me into having a cup.

what's a conker???? never heard of that before but i think i want one!!! i just noticed the leaves on my maple starting to turn red this morning. no leaves are falling but that will happen soon. we are heading to new engand in about 6 weeks and i can't wait. the yearly trek to salem and my daughter took a week off work and my son is working it into his university schedule so they can go with us. we haven't had a weeks vacation as a family in a long long time!!!

There are all sorts of leaves on my patio already. It's hard to believe, as that doesn't usually start for a few weeks.

Happy September!!!
