I have quite a wee passion for mermaids, amongst other things and they are one of my favourite pieces to draw. I do the outline first in pencil, (so i can rub out all the mistakes!), then i dot the pictures with black ink. I think it makes it look a wee bit better than it actually is.

The middle one is my favourite, but it also reminds me of an ink line drawing I once did, so I'm probably biased.
